How to WIRE Ignition Coil & Distributor | Jeep and Willys (yrs 1941-1971)

How to wire ignition coil and 12 volt distributor to a 1947 CJ2A Willys Jeep. The positive ignition coil wire coming from the right side electrical wiring harness connects directly to the ignition coil. As well the distributor connects to the ignition coil to the positive and negative terminals. #willysjeep #jeep #car

My distributor only has one black wire. Nice video my distributor seems to be different. It would be cool to with cap off. Im getting no spark out of new coil. Just don't understand what im doing wrong

Ya grate video but how do you install spark plug wires? Like if you don't know how to hook up a coil then your not going to know witch wire goes on with spark plug.

Have you done a 12v conversion? Our battery is 12v the coil is 6v and we still have a generator. We need a new coil, do we up it to 12v? Or stick with 6

I just got a distributor from Blueprint engines, ZERO, absolutely ZERO wiring instructions. It has three wires. Red, yellow, and black.. Then there is a little side grey wire and I have absolutely no earthly clue what that is for. Am I supposed to assume that the red wires is positive side of the coil, yellow is negative side of coil, and black goes to the closest available ground?? Not the first time I have ever done this, but even just a little slip of paper telling you where the wires are to be hooked up would have been extremely helpful.
