How To Make a Candy-Pearl Black Cherry Color

Just starting to learn about candy coat’s, and was thinking of painting my beetle candy apple.
However this black cherry color blend looks like it would work really well on the curvy beetle, so might go with something like this instead.

Using black as a base coat is always the best. I used your candy red and mixed with a candy orange to get a darker orange. I used it on a model truck I built. Only thing negative is the fact I have to shine a bright light on it so the paint can pop out. Since the truck has a lot of curves it does pop out.

The color you painted would be my second choice to paint my newly restored 1953 Ford F100. My first choice is a murder red.

If I wanted to ghost flame in the same color say candy black cherry over silver but wanted to ghost flame would I just keep the mask on for the firt 1-2 coats then cover alll with silver? I am painting RC car bodies?

The black is beautiful, like the Black Currant Pearl on my Honda. Can you do a show on the difference between factory paint jobs and custom, aftermarket ones? I have always heard factory ones were better. BMW offers customers individual paint jobs for some models, thinking of getting one.

Love your videos. I'm learning airbrush, haven't tried it yet.
I see you're using the Iwata HP-TH2.
When I saw you with an Iwata, I really got excited.
I have a Iwata Eclipse Hp-Bcs Airbrush. And a
6 Gal. 150 PSI Pancake Compressor. (ALL unopened).
Question:
I want to Airbrush those colors like the Murdered Candy on much smaller metal projects
(Around the size of credit card).
Can I still achieve the same amazing results with my less powerful equipment?
If so,
Any Technical Suggestions that you can offer is greatly appreciated.

I used your exact Candy-Pearl Black Cherry recipe on a gold base and I'm not getting the expected flip/flop. I made the mix and then waited a few days before using it. Is it possible that the Cosmic Sparkle dissolves over time?
