Bought a Ryzen 3 2200G for my first pc 3 years ago, upgraded it with a used RX 580 4GB a few months later. It was my entry point to PC gaming. This is a clear step up from them old APUs a few years back and I'm hopeful for those getting this for their first pc.

This is brilliant! I actually made a build for my partner with this CPU just 2 months ago. There are still a few graphics driver bugs but overall performance is excellent - and that without a separate GPU, since the 5700G comes with integrated graphics.

Managed to get it done for about £560 (which translates to about $750 USD)

Not to mention you can overclock the iGPU and easily gain a 50% performance increase, I think this is worth testing.

The 5700g makes no sense for a budget gaming build, when the 5600g exists.

The performance advantage is too small to be noticed, and the price difference is pretty significant.

I literally have the same rig, except my mobo is an Aorus Pro V2. It´s built in on a fairly good quality-price average Mid-ATX case, and I can actually stream and play really smoothly. Nice video Greg!
