alright, here is a small explanation about The Imitator abilities, most of including :

-The Imitator (himself)
-Small Companion (baby lizard)
-Lizard Social
-Walking GPS ( lizard location system)

Buff:
-Increasing Time (increasing ability time using)

Debuff:
-Karma
-MDD
-Starving Friend
-Bad Taste (food poisoning)
Character: The Imitator and Pickle the lizard

more functions is that their stomach can be storage 3 items

and strength from imitated a green or red lizard ( just like gourmand when they speared, or maybe increase Imitator's protection that can took 1-2 spear hits without dying

So is their diat restricted to just centipedes, jet fish, yeeks, squidkata, scavengers, popcorn, vulture grubs, vultures, noodle flies, and spiders?
It may seem like I listed a lot, but these are often few and far between. It can easily be a harder fight than green, blue, pink, orange, white, and black.
You show them not liking vegie/fruit but, at the same time, unable to eat lizards, which are the primary food source for the carnivorous slugcats in many of the regions.
It can be hard enough crossing farm arrays without needing to find a centipede or 2 before sleeping, as lizards are far more common near almost every shelter.

i wonder what would happen in-game when you trigger MDD, maybe you lose control of the character and have to watch as they... "leave"

I think MDD being 100% death is not going to be fun, you could make it like it drops from poles randomly when you are in danger or runs slower or even stops randomly when being chased. Also i really adore the little lizard idea.

Even if you can only get strawberry lizards through linage in earlier slugcats, (which I presume this takes place around) you should be able to eat strawberry lizards, because literally every lizard can eat them apart from themselves.

I actually love this but here’s one critique!!
I would say the suicide one is not something you should implement. Because while Rainworld is a brutal game, suicide is a real world topic that can actually be pretty triggering to be irl and he’ll end up waking back up a cycle later :(

I’d personally replace it with the slugcat becoming slower. Needing more food, staying in its nest for longer periods of (valuable) time sleeping. Feeling physically ill (from how many lizards it’s killed). When it defends itself while depressed, it won’t fight back as much. Fur is visibly pale. Maybe even die of heart break/stress.
I love the sweet scent thing attracting baby lizards though, it’s so cute he has a bunch of little buddies.

The MDD idea isn't bad, but I think it needs a rework. Instead of killing yourself, you have similar affects to starvation (slower, drop alot, pass out, ect).

how huggable are they?
