I'm originally from NY, so when I visit I tend to book a place based on where we'll spend the most time and access to the subway - I prefer to be on a main line train that'll pass through connection stations if needed. Favorite area to stay is down in or by the Village!

I live in downtown Brooklyn and see people with bags on the DAILY. Just a casual reminder that even if you’re not in midtown Manhattan, it’s still good courtesy to follow the same pedestrian rules as you normally would. We still have places to be

I went in 2017 and stayed at a former B & B in Chelsea with a shared bath.. $135 per night! Subway station about a block away on 8th Ave., and less than 10 minutes from 42nd St.!

Would've stayed again, but building sold and being converted into mansion! 😔

Honestly that's something I knew but I booked my hotel in October for the trip to be two weeks ago and it wasn't that more expensive.
Now it isn't peak season and the hotel had an offer because it was approximately the same price as the Jane at around 100 to 150$/n
It was the pod hotel Times Square and I enjoyed my stay.
Can't wait to come back
