Anybody else watching the entire cannon series again in preparation for the Thousand Year Blood War Chapter? It's probably been over 5 years since the last time I've watched this, but I'm going to approach this finale the right way by giving myself the refresher I desperately need as well as give myself hype the proper way before watching the renewed series on Disney+.

I think it’s worth mentioning that this CURRENTLY is the “final arc”. The author, Tite Kubo, released a one-shot chapter last year that began a new arc. He said he’ll continue when people stop pestering him about it (which I think means when he’s ready, and it’ll be on his own terms). He’s probably focusing more on supervising the anime at the moment to continue it at the moment.

It's great that the Fullbringers ultimately made it after their betrayal and being nearly wiped out by the aristocracy's operatives. Them turning allies while then doing good in the human world as a charitable organization is quite the postscript.

I heard rumors that if tybw gets REALLY well recieved, Kubota would want to animate Can't Fear Your Own World and Spirits Are Forever With You, which I'm hoping for tbh

I will say that it's a longshot but I wouldn't quite say it's the "final arc". Kubo did release a chapter that did explore the hell verse and left open the potential for a continued story in the future

For number 10. That is not entirely true. There is the three light novels and the bonus Hell chapter that was released about within the last year.

They told us he was the last quincy because they wiped out all quincy hundreds of years ago.... The fact that they get attacked by the quincy is a surprise because everyone thought they were dead.

But obviously you can't have trailers for the new season without revealing that they're still around.
