I think a testament to Kroos' immense quality and importance is clear to see this season when watching Madrid play, they look a completely different team in build up without him.
The man dictated the pace of the entire team every year in his career at Madrid. Him and Busquets will forever be one of my favourites.

Three similar players. What Pirlo has over the other two, at his peak he was a very silky dribbler. Scholes and Kroos are very similar but Kroos is a better set piece taker. Have to leave out Scholes for this one

Pirlo is my favourite, & big love for Scholes. But I don’t think people understand how good Toni Kroos actually was. There’ll never be another like him. Played football the hardest way, the best 💯

lol ridiculous Kroos won 6 CL’s with 2 different teams. World Cup winner as Germany’s best player. Scholes didn’t start in most of the CL Finals for United and couldn’t get in the England Team. The English bias is ridiculous

Regardless of who you play, bench or sell, the real justice is Xavi not even in discussion.
He became a phenomenal player after Guardiola designed a system than exploited all the players' abilities. Very good but not superstellar at Euro 2008, Senna was the best player of that tournament but he wasnt catalan or from Real. 2010 WC was not exactly the super dominant Spain the press has been selling; indeed, they were very fortunate against Paraguay and vs Netherlands. Euro 2012 they were lucky against Portugal and that Italy had half team injured in the final

These three were phenomenal since their early 20s.
