I just realized, the man depended on the pool & it's false promises for help like many today depend on the Gov. Jesus didn't just give this man his healing, the man first had to demonstrate that he was READY & willing to have a better life by getting himself up & taking care of his bed. Well-meaning, but endless charity robs people of the dignity of healing & providing for themselves. ALL peoples have had to heal & rebuild... suffering is not exclusive to anyone. This is one of the meanings found in this story. Mind blown...
