Hey Gang - the holidays got away on me before I had a chance to catch you all up on what happened in 2021 and whats going to happen in 2022 in the Stroudiverse!! So here you go - and Happy New Year!

Les! What drives you? How have you put out such inspiring and diverse content for so long? You make ideas reality, and in the process inspire, educate, and entertain. 60 is looking survivable!! Keep doing it!!! Side note, I was camping in the desert last week and used car mats to insulate me under my sleeping bag... I went to rip out the back cushions of my buddys car but I figured I’d survive without it... thanks for a lifetime of knowledge and saving lives! Cue hermonica.

I turned on the tv in grade 5… home sick one day here in Winnipeg… flipping through mid-day tv when the only thing on was the price is right… but then I found something incredible. Something I’d never seen before.

A dude. All alone. In Arizona. Surviving on scorpions and sitting under a juniper tree. Couldn’t believe it. I needed to see more. I was hooked.

24 now. Still hooked to this day. My grandparents owned a lodge in mid-northern Manitoba… always felt connected to the wildlife… always felt like I’ve been torn between the city and wilderness, and feel the city wins too often. As a family, we’d try to go and visit them atleast once a year. But never as much as I would’ve liked obviously going to school, living in the city… your show ALWAYS helped me stay connected, and travel where I couldn’t yet.

I’ll love your show forever for that…Just love and respect you and your work! Watching Survivorman always takes me back to a simpler time In my life, and brings back memories I’ll cherish forever…

Keep up the fantastic work Les! Its been hard I’m sure. It’s been gruelling… I can ONLY imagine…but I promise you It’s never gone unnoticed!

Survivorman was my favorite survival show on tv. So glad I found the YouTube page, now im rewatching all the episodes lol.

"I'm 60 yrs old in the body and 29 in the head, " alot of wisdom there. I hear alot of people mention how old their getting and theyre only in their mid thirties!! What comes out of our mouths is based off our mindset, and what we choose to embrace as truth. After experiencing life for a certain amount of time we begin sooner or later to take a look at the over all picture of life and begin to see how fleeting it is and begin to desire to put our efforts to what is more meaningful and how we can impact others in a more positive manner especially towards those suffering one way or another in the world. I think we can take away good influence and wisdom from Les. Heres to you good man of the woods. God loves you and is with you.

Always enjoyed watching Survivorman back when I was a teenager and still do to this day. Happy you are still doing what you love and have the following you deserve because I never felt like you put on a front for entertainment (always added it never at the expense of the content you wanted to put forward).
