FC 25 isn't even out yet and it's annoying me.. last week the trailer dropped for EA's next football focussed game, and i can't lie lads it was bad. it was boring. the new features for the game look tired. and it's all because there's no competition. this is how EA killed FIFA.

The only point I don't agree with is that nowadays fifa videos are made for younger audience. The biggest channels around 2017, which for a lot of people was the golden age of fifa, all made videos about forfeits or challenges and fake pack openings like W2S. They were clearly made for kids (like me at the time) with screaming and breaking stuff. And now we have good channels like Danny Aarons, Futcrunch and others whose target audience is also the same age. We're just getting old and most likely blinded by nostalgia and there is nothing wrong with that 😅

FIFA was dead from the second they realised they could just make the same game again, make false promises and only improve the graphics and make millions for about a week’s worth of work. And they’ve kept doing it because everyone who cares doesn’t really play the game anymore and those who do are too young to realise what FIFA used to be and think FIFA was always like this.

I remember as a teen, when I was in high school, one year almost all the boys in my classroom agreed to skip class and play FIFA all day when it was released. And I mean all types of guys: jocks, weed smokers, musicians, surfers, emos, nerds (like me)... That's how powerful FIFA was, it united everyone.

There should be a cut scene at the start of a game where a interviewer asks a fan how it's going to go and you can talk through your microphone so the person you're playing online can hear you taking the piss and getting a chance to respond would be a great feature.

I'm gonna look at it from another angle, The fanbase have killed fifa. They just go with the punches that EA lands on them constantly. 2k and NHL also, just sports games in general, As much as the company is to blame, I would definelty put it more on the stupid gambling adicted fanbase that are just ok with it. And don't get me started on the youtubers that push the "Open pack" videos, then on another video, they bitch about the game while suiting up to buy the next one

EAFC completely lost the plot as soon as "they " as the organisation/company cared about sales/money in their pockets you sausages and not the perfection of the game/gameplay experience and excitement of the true DNA of FOOTBALL.
