That's the thing as well with 'scaling comps.' They only scale when champs hit their scaling mark (like Kass or Kayle hitting level16), and that scaling only matters if the enemy team makes a mistake. If the enemy team gets a huge lead early and maintains that lead, it won't matter how hard you scale. A four item Cait is going to be more valuable than a three item Ezreal, you know?

This is another indicator of a whole game balance issue from breaking the fundamentals which were in place in dota 1. Adc never feel like carrys, just who can get key items to their peak power level. Eg top lane getting two core items whilst an adc would need 3-4 items to safely secure a kill against that said top. And usually all adc items are just the same and doesn’t have massive synergies or unlock a win condition path for a adc. Caitlin with 3 items vs a dota wraith king with Radiance, AC and blink

Yea dude its so true. Bot lanes will lose their lane in the first 2 mins. Get the laned shoved, they dont ward, and enemy support gets roam prio and sarts snowballing mid, who then gets roam prio and keeps snowballing top and bot. Then your whole team says your a shit jungler. Its so annoying, you can't influence the map when your laners clearly dont know how to play lol

Unranked but assuming I'm in bronze, the games last 50 minutes and the outcome is completely unpredictable because none of us has any clue how to finish the game 😀 It seems like scaling champs are better in low elo.

Games would be very different if people actually realize there is no such thing as "meta". It is something that is mistaken for POPULAR. Builds are different every game and 95% of these players build the same thing every game which is not optimal. Same with "meta" champs, there are 160+ champs to choose from and not the very low champ pool that is "meta". Choosing from the entire champ pool gives teams a wider opportunity to win the game. Builds are the same like with tank supports, if tank supports actually build tank and not utility they can make more plays along with stay in fights longer to do their job in team fights but if they are utility they engage then run cause they are already low HP from being squishy as a tank. This game has no set champs or builds that you HAVE to follow but does have options for optimal builds for each game, its all about adjusting for those games.

Stop using the Word SCALING for everything maybe? Only Champions like senna SCALE, every other champ's SCALING depends on enemy Comp and their role in the game. Lol players are so dumb btw
