I hope that they will introduce this so much! When they make sure this is secure, there will be no problem

League should have overwatch, same as CSGO and DOTA2. The pretext that it's gonna take too long, blabla, is utterly out of pure laziness and being unconcerned about the community. 12 years now and it already should have this system implemented. They removed the Tribunal because it was actually doing a way better job than them, thus having to employ people to actually work on those cases for just proof-reading, but they don't want that, they want the easy way out.

I’ve had to report so many people in my recent ranked games.. I’ve seen the “A player you recently reported has been banned!” message at least 4-5 times and it hasn’t even been a week

They already do this for clash. It didn't stop smurfing there. But I agree it will reduce the amount

Dig this idea. Also more casual geared content would be appreciated. Curious what they have in store for this year.

I like that idea I also like a dishonor system where instead of honoring someone you can dishonor them as well. Instead of reporting.. you dishonor them have a point system. If you stay in a certain level of points for griefing/inting you get permabanned. The whole lobby can pin a player for griefing.

reddit would have an absolute meltdown if riot tried to do this

2:44 I think it makes a LOT of sense, and I would pay to play, even if it’s a one time fee or your phone number.

they need to go nuclear on punishments and bring back the tribunal where ACTUAL players get to judge the behavior of someone who was reported in a game. Give them access to all the chat logs and match history of the reported player and if enough people agree that they were being toxic, give that bastard a perma ban. An IP ban. Put an ancient Mesopotamian curse on them so they never load up another game of league again.

It's way too easy to get a throwaway esim or if you're lazy just pay someone to do it for you (clash verification is already done this way)

Here's what they should have done:

1. Stopped creating new champions after 100.
2. Created at least one more map to be used in ranked.

And that's it!

What are those headphones so I know what to avoid?

What is going to happen is that lower level players who think a higher level player is int'ing is going to report enough and get good players banned. Play something off meta? Banned. The funny part is that it will be worse on the KR / CN servers XD

Don’t worry riot “is listening more” and will definitely make this issue go away in 2-3 years

Something to consider is that not everybody who plays League has a phone number. You'd have to consider some poorer countries where having one is more of a privilege rather than a given, and also the younger kids in general who don't yet have a phone.

Let's just do Korea and your social security number is required to play

I would pay 10$ or 2.99$/month for prime match making

You already need to verify your phone number to play clash. Why not ranked? This makes sense.

I still watch league but I haven't played "seriously" in several years.

The amount of griefers and toxicity is brutal.

Watching the pros is still fun though
