I think it's rather odd to boot a car in a handicap spot. Now the handicapped person can't park there.

Once my grandma got a boot put on her car because she forgot to put her handicap sticker up. I was there with her and she was very kind and patient with the man and even showed him her handicap sticker, but he just kept repeating to her that she was going to jail. Now that man is fired from his job as a parking inspector. Moral of the story is not to be an asshole parking inspector.

I have absolutely no respect for people without disabilities that park in a disabled parking spot.
But I have even less respect for people putting boots on cars!

Being a private company, you might possibly be the one breaking the law. You have the right to tow the car away and/or tell the person to leave your property. You don't have the right to modify their property and them complain when they try to remove said modification.
