Thank you so so much bro. I didn't even realize how big of a nuisance this small issue is until it happened. Couldn't edit, had to add new contacts on a damn text file and never knew who was calling. Couldn't get the Google sync to work but that's nothing compared to actually being able to use Contacts again. Thanks again dude, seriously.

For me... Settings..app management.."contact storage"..clear data and then force stop .worked fine.
.realme device..
Pleade note.. 'contact storage" is a single app name.

Thank you I imagine how much, my god the problem has trouble and destroy my work and life for at least four years, I even doubt it Google blocked the other phone maker, or the other phone maker are not capable to see the problem, I saved a contact into Google take ten minutes or even one hour, I thus delayed and loss many business as contact also get stuck, I changed many brands phone, the quick one is Google phone, but Google phone is crazy in terms of functions and battery life, mad I am for many years until I today feel need to ask, lucky to found your great video, my god thanks
