Kelly def should be in top 25. In my opinion both Kelly & P!nk have been mostly underated & overlooked their whole careers, but their fans know what's up. They are both still killin it today- 2 decades.later❤🔥

I don't agree with Billboard's justification but Katy had higher highs and an unbeaten streak of three back-to-back-to-back successful pop records ("One of the Boys" "Teenage Dream, " and "Prism") before "dropping off." "My December" (which is actually a personal fave of Clarkson's) is/was probably the career misstep that hurt her.

I think they are listing the artists really not on vocal ability but sort of overall star power as a pop star. Kelly is fully in the talk show host/mum stage of life.
I’m not saying I agree with their ranking but I do understand their point.

Billboard contradicted itself, because they put recently "Since U been Gone" as the best pop songs of the 21th century and #4 of the greatest pop songs of all time. They have also wrote that Kelly define the pop of the 2000's and influenced other artist like Katy herself...Billboard have also listed "Wrapped In Red" as the best Christmas Album of this century so far...And by the way, Kelly has 9 top ten Albums in the chart, with Chemistry as recently of last year...
So...whatever...

They're crazy if they think they found 198 singers better than Kelly. I mean Kelly's not the best singer that's ever lived but she's in the top 198 of pop singers today she's in the top 25 Male and female.

I agree Kelly was snubbed she deserved to be higher on that list but Katy is very talented too as well and also deserves to be on there but billboard is biased they clearly have their favourites . They don’t always get it right all the time I don’t think Jho deserved to be on there she can’t even sing she uses other peoples vocals like Ashanti’s and others why don’t you have the smoke for someone like her instead of hating on Katy Perry who’s actually talented .

Kelly Clarkson peak was around 2005-2010, I do agree with this list and even if Katy Perry is a low ride, she has an incredible record with Teenage Dream. How many singles in one album? Like 5. Plus, you need to have a global reach and Kelly is more famous in English speaking countries.
