Saw a western bluebird in my backyard and am very excited. The Canada goose have lots of goslings now. I wonder about their behavior. More than two adults travel with several goslings. Cool. I like your enthusiasm.

Not a bird watcher, however, on Sunday, from backdoor window, saw chickadees with chicks. Is this normal at this time of year?
