The battle of the gullet was moved to season 3(confirmed) and Daeron won't appear this season but will be mentionned according to some leaks.

I think the Greens will be the protagonists while the Blacks will be the antagonists. It's wishful thinking to be honest. However, throughout the Dance, Aegon II and Aemond had character development in their own ways. Aegon II becomes brave and a bit wiser (even though he is impulsive at times) and Aemond actually starts to date Lyonel Strong's female bastard which is ironic since Aemond grew up hating Strong bastards. If the show really wants us to pick a side, at the very least make the Greens a bit more likeable after the heavy Black faction bias in Season 1.

Yeah basically everything you said they will rework for the show, there are massive rumors that Blood & Cheese is Daemon and Mostly Misaria's doing because she wants revenge for Otto burning her House/Brothel, that means they will white wash Rhaenyra even more, Rhaena will replace Nettles story reason for that is they can't split Daemon/Rhaenyra cuz the fandom would go berserk, just look at ep 10 Daemon choking Rhaenyra, the snowflakes went on a wild rant (That is out of character, he loves her, they were meant to be blaha blah). Actor for Aemond confirmed that Team Green (Apart from Alicent ofc) will be even more EVIL, no surprise there, also since Sara Snow is cut rumors are Cregan/Jace Gay Romance, hopefully not but I wouldn't put it past this show.

Really love ur predictions for season 2 but i hope this is not the case with rhaenyra taking the throne in season 2. I would much have it end with the battle of the gullet with jace dying and aemond ascending the throne and have rhaenyra take king landing in the season 3 premiere. Not to mention season 2 will be 8 episodes only so i hope they dont rush through certain characater moments for the blacks and greens.

They’re bias towards Blacks so no doubt they will try to rework the story to make the Greens even more evil. They probably won’t show Daemon having an affair with a girl less than half his age, maybe they’ll make Blood and Cheese less Rhaenyra and Daemon’s fault and more someone else, everything to make the Greens evil and Blacks badass because apparently Rhaenyra is the a feminist icon and saying Aegon should be king is sexist…

I just feel bad for George RR Martin… they change and rework his stories to the point where it’s uncreognizable. What is great about the way he wrote the Dance of Dragons was that there were equal flaws and virtues on both ends. Both sides had rights and wrongs and therefore he isn’t forcing you to pick a side. He writes such moral ambiguous and complicated characters that inspire both hatred and sympathy in readers. Now these show writers are just adapting his material and changing his characters to no doubt fit an agenda and message.

George RR Martin himself has said that Hollywood people take good stories from writers and rework them because they think they can do better instead of trying to write their own stories.

Many famed authors like Stephen King and Veronica Roth hate Hollywood adaptations of their books.
