Eddie Kendricks was the star of the show because he got people on their feet. He was getting people to dance, and the fact it was Black people and white people dancing together just showed how great the 70s was. People getting together through great music.

"Radar Love" is one of the best driving songs ever.

Anne Murray could sing my grocery list and I'd sigh with contentment.

Radar Love is famous for the lyric "The radio is playing some forgotten song, Brenda Lee's "Coming On Strong", but few recognize the humor in it. A song is not "forgotten" if you can immediately name the artist and title when you hear it.

Rufus! Good 👍 grief, so much talent! They are laying down licks that are very new for the 70s. Chaka is great, but the band is mighty tight with such a fabulous groove. Technical chops, chops, and then more chops.

Here's a small tidbit, Rufus played at my senior prom. What a wonderful memory seeing her on Midnight Special. Thanks to Burt Sugarman.

Whoever designs Anne Murray's threads, they got her looking about as exciting as a P.T. Registered Nurses Assistant.

I so loved the spiritual awakening in the early 70s. In 1974 we had Sister Janet Mead's "The Lord's Prayer" reaching the top 10. In this show, we have Anne Murray performing a wonderful song called "Robbie's Song For Jesus" and Wet Willie offers the southern gospel sound with "Trust In The Lord". Although Anne has retired, Jimmy Hall from Wet Willie is still touring and that golden voice still sounds amazing.

I had seen Golden Earring about 2 weeks before their appearance here. It was my first concert and they were the opening band for King Crimson in Toronto at Massey Hall. Both bands were excellent and I've been a fan of both every since.

Be Jealous everyone, I have floor seats to Gladys Knight tomorrow night! 👍. Looks like a wonderful trip in the Way Back Machine! I remember Buffy Sainte-Marie, good stuff. Post Temptations Eddie Kendricks will be great! I saw Wet Willie a few weeks ago on a member's only video, I forgot his other songs, much deeper catalogue than I thought! Same thing with Country Joe McDonald, I remember the "FISH" cheer and "We're Gonna Die Rag" from Woodstock, but that's all I've heard from him, I will get to hear more tonight! Golden Earing, Moontan, the album Radar love came off of is a Conceptual album, funny thing the rest of the album contradicts the theme of the song Radar Love. Rufus, will Chaka be there? Anne Murray, Canada's gift to music! Looks like another great episode!

From what I understand, the legendary Beatle John Lennon actually praised Anne Murray for her cover of The Beatles song 'You Won't See Me'.

It's a shame that not enough people know that this is being re-aired.

I have not heard The Wet Willie Band's "Keep on Smilin'" in over 25 years. Man did that song bring back some awesome memories!!

I have always loved Anne's cover of You Won't See Me. John Lennon said it was one of his favorite covers.

Before you raise an eyebrow at Wet Willy’s clown shoes, they will be back in fashion soon.

"Radar Love" is a classic-rock staple.😍 I'm guessing Golden Earring recorded their segment on tour somewhere, or else in the Netherlands where they're from.

Chaka Khan is a force of nature. Incredible voice and stage presence. And the Rufus band is laying it down. Great sounds.
