The Libraries of the University of Aveiro (UA) promote next Wednesday, March 8, 2023 the webinar "Scientific information sources", in English language, intended for Erasmus students and international students but in which all the academic community of UA can participate. Participation is free but registration is mandatory.
This session aims to promote information and digital literacy skills, privileging students' autonomy in the learning and research processes. During the session, students will learn about scientific information characterization, types of documents who hold it, and contextualizing information sources like scientific databases, digital repositories and aggregators. Then, students will explore some databases, their features, learn how to find scientific information by subject and get access to it.
