Great presentation, Joe! I like the way you presented your rationale in a succinct and understandable way. By the way, If it's possible, would you be able to provide a presentation on ELIXIR? I've heard a lot positive things about Elixir & Phoenix. Much appreciated :)

Nice work as usual Joe. You seem to mistake Strong typing for Static typing when you compare Python with C++ and Java. However Python is also strongly typed. Key difference with Java is that it's dynamically typed while Java is statically typed.

Im done both and I agree everything with you. However, like parentheses, python has indentation. One missed tab or space will not run code or cause error. Personally I prefer Java or c++ style of coding haha. It's kind of ironic to see some universities teach python like Java style, not pythonic way. Anyways love ur vids !!

Worked on Java and Python, hands down Python is much easier to code.

Simple syntax, I wish. Am I the only one who got an indentation error message from python because a line had 4 spaces instead of one tab? How this is easier than match brackets? Every editor shows brackets.

I USE TO TEACH PYTHON FOR MACHINE LEARNING AND PATTERN RECOGNITION IN THE UNIVERSITY COURSES. WHAT I HAVE FOUND IS THAT PYTHON IS REALLY COOL FOR IMPLEMENTING ANY MACHINE LEARNING ALGORITHMS AND IT REALLY HAS A VERY GOOD COLLECTION OF PACKAGES ...

Should I prefer python over C? I mean I have been using C for as long as I can remember but once I picked up on python I stopped using C altogether. What's your take on this?

while python's strong point is that its easy to get into and program in. It takes more effort to thoroughly test. It's unsuitable for large scale software projects because of its dynamic nature. It allows sloppy and careless coding styles, which is less possible in java because java enforces more oop standards. The downsides of java become upsides when the codebase grows huge while the upsides of python become encumberances. Moreover java is faster.
