I choose C# and .NET in 2019 and I have no regrets at all. Microsoft keeps improving it day-by-day.

I started my journey with Dot Net Core 3.1!
Now it's 7.x! I feel like I grew up with Dot Net. ❤️

Also, I do write ExpressJS and serverless (Firebase, Azure Functions) for small projects but I always choose Dot Net for Enterprise Solutions ❤️

Great video, thanks.
I use a Chromebook computer; I downloaded the .dotnet dsk 7 and 8 so I can learn how to program C#(instruction for the course). But it's not working and I can't even find another easy one to use for my practice.
Could you recommend an IDE that I can use for C# programming?
I am an absolute beginner interested in learning how to code and I currently have zero knowledge on any language.
Greetings

Is it good to invest time to learn C# and .NET development during my bachelors? I am currently in my 2nd year out of 4 and thinking of pursuing it as my career.

Is this worth learning if I don't have any programming langauge experience. I work mostly with salesforce front end applications. HTML, CSS Java Script etc.

I have c# background but no experience in .net. If I expertise in this topic, can I find suitable jobs in the industry? Whats the demand for .net developers?

reason 1 is moot, you can do that with python and js too ;)
reason 2 is another moot point: python and js are also very versatile and powerful (and have very good IDE support)
reason 3 super moot point: the python and the js community is way bigger and more active than c# (fact). Not saying c# is small, but still less big.
reason 4, is somewhat moot: yes there are more C# jobs than python, but JS is way bigger than c# (general worldwide stats)
reason 5 moot again: both python and js developers are dedicated too, and implement new things constantly.. thus pushing the languages forward, just as Microsoft does.
All in all i don't hear any compelling reason to go c#, which stands out as a specific thing others lack. I would advice you to redo this video properly, with good reasons.
Not saying i am a python or js fanboy.. not at all.. but your video compared these two languages, and provided reasons to switch to c#. I find these reasons weak, and pointless (moot)

I come from a dark future where Unity has lost its mind.

Jokes aside, do you think it's still worth learning C# even after that Unity mess?
