FAIRBURN Has a huge range when kicking both kicking punts and shots at goal, if he was playing now in the modern era, he surely would leave most kickers eating mound dirt .

I was at this game. Remember it like it was yesterday. There was a full fist fight between Nash and Raudonikis which isn’t on this highlights reel. Both players sent off.

Swinging arms, low key upper cuts, standing knees to the ribs, it like a controled ufc match out there
Miss this real gladiator stuff

Imagine working hard and getting selected to play for your country.
You take your first hit up of a massive test series between two nations and the commentators are heard all across the commonwealth of nations.

About ten minutes of the 22 minutes of “highlights” are people lining up and taking kicks at goal. Shows what a sensible move it was to make it 4 for a try. Of course, Union still hasn’t learned and you get multiple kicks for minor offences from 40-50 metres out taking a good 90 seconds plus each time. Completely mindless. But the northern hemisphere seems to like watching kicks. Saves doing anything creative. Not that Australia and NZ RU been smart enough to realise it’s a real loser when people compare the spectacle to league.

Imagine if Cronin used today's kicking tees?

Its not England it is Great Britain, commentators keep referring to the team in white as England.

That Aussie side would be considered strong in any era.

The first 5 mins shows why George Fairbairn should never have been anywhere near the fullback Jersey. Keith Mumby would have been a much safer option at
