I literally couldn't see A THING in this kart race

I made the mistake of bringing the wrong visor for a race close in the late afternoon. I just assumed the sun would be low and annoyingly bright in my eyes... but that's because I forgot I was in the UK (it's always cloudy). So instead, I just looked for the painted curbs and opened my visor on the straights to clear the fog lol

In always open my visor a bit. Works well most of the time, unless you are doin an endurance race were it was hot before and starts raining. Then I have the problem that my glasses start to fog big time. At that point I wish I had my contacts in and try to remember the wet braking points while go into a survive mode and settle for position^^

Sounds like a skill issue, I’ve used a full tint in night racing

my first races in rentals were with and old basic helmet that came with my mother's motorcycle, the visor was completely scratched and fogged up really easily, so I got used to racing with an open visor

that is until I ate dirt and rubber after 3 laps without the visor, then I had to adjust to not seeing shit, it's scary, but fun
