Happy Birthday Lara!

I was hoping to finish this video on your birthday but I was late by an hour...still, Im really happy I managed to finish it at all!
I've been wanting to edit with this song for a while, specifically for a tsurune amv, and I told you before, whenever I edit with tsurune, it reminds me of you. (I can't wait to watch the movie with you as well, I wonder what our boys will get up to this time!)
Besides, I found myself relating to the song a lot, and I felt that it described our friendship pretty well.
Despite everything, and no matter what will happen in the future, I'll always be here for you, offering my help in any way possible. I'll always be here to encourage you when everything is getting a little too much, I'll be here to remind you of things you're passionate about, I'll help you see sides about yourself that aren't visible to you.

Being your friend has given me so much, so let me use this chance to give something back! You deserve it all Lara.

I love Minato x Seiya so much. Perfect friendship, perfect bond. I hate a repeat of Free's Makoto x Haru (same writer behind Tsurune) where the friendship is just set aside for a rivalry that has no deeper connection (except the one the fandom imagines because they just want to ship rivals AGAIN) so I'm hoping this time pure friendship with no bullying and rivalry goals wins. After all, lovers have to be great friends too more than anything- for me it's the kind of romance that lasts longer because there's real concern, affection, and support.

We don't use our loved ones as adrenaline pumps- not as motivators to win a game or a competition. If you love someone deeply, you have to establish a connection that's always there through the ups and downs, the highs and lows- ALWAYS. This amv reminds me of what true bonds with no ulterior motives mean. Thanks~~

Wow. After having watched this multiple times and having enjoyed the full song on Spotify, I feel like I could talk about many things, although I may have said plenty of stuff about your editing already - stuff that is unquestionably still valid and will always be... Therefore, I'd like to take a more personal turn with my comment this once, hopefully you'll embrace it nonetheless.

Your edits are brimming with a sense of genuinity. I believe it is mostly evoked by the dedicated purpose that is unfailingly, clearly there. In a way, I find it endearing to know how much of a mess your mind is sometimes, and yet, your skills turn that mess into a graspable, relatable portrayal of feelings. To stay on topic, I would say it's like the process of calming down while aiming before firing an arrow. This video, like every other, hit the bull's eye for me.

I've always been a lover of moments, especially when they're inevitably succeeded by an action. For instance, my favourite moment of the day is the aurora, which is the brief, slowly expanding light that comes right before sunrise. You could say the same thing about archery: the attentive phase of aiming at the target, after the bow is risen and the string is perfectly tense is a moment I'm in love with... and I'm grateful to Tsurune for emphasizing that brief time that makes the archer's eyes focused at their best and also makes everybody else hold their breaths in expectant awe. This is what your videos feel like to me, especially the ones that you gift me, for some reason. They offer me a sense of anticipation followed by the wonder of watching the final product. I was too often accused of exaggeration in my life, so I'm instinctively afraid you'll think my comment is just a bunch of magnified praise, but I'll take that risk in honor of being honest with a friend.

This anime is solid editing material in every possible way, thanks to the amount of care that was put into making it. Such care is aligned with yours whenever you interact with me, however, there's something tighter and warmer when the two things get combined - this anime and your bond with me - it almost feels like a craft of things that are meant to mix and serve a certain kind of friendship only. In other words, Tsurune + our bond wraps up something special that is fitting for us. I'm happy that you used it for making this video, I can't think of a better choice. It's our anime.

When I watch this video I see a sequence of meaningful moments (0:00 - 0:35) spawn from unclear thoughts, that tiptoe towards actions and sometimes shy away from them. A game of conditionals, of certain uncertainties that I feel like represent us a lot in the past. When you reach the chorus of the song (0:36 - 0:53) the action happens: the arrow is fired and everything else is in motion, memories flood in and love is bravely expressed with a precious display of emotions, reminding me of our reunion. Then it all builds up to establishing oneself (0:54 - 0:59) once both friends are enpowered by eachother, which translates to us improving as individuals. The final part touched me the most (0:60 - 1:13) as it showcases the beauty of all that was watered enough between us to grow stronger and stay alive. To sum everything up, I like interpreting this video as a collection of the key points in our friendship.

I'm not only thankful, blessed and moved, but also willing to take more stable steps in every aspect of my life now. My last few years have been hectic and shaky, affecting my relationships too. I actively seek more balance now and I want you to know that all the times you've reached out to me have nudged me towards the healthiest direction. You loving me heals and helps, always. If I were to list the reasons that led me to becoming who I am today, you are one.

Starting my thirties with you in my life is nothing less than a joyous beginning. Thank you for this lovely gift, and for the rest of the gifts as well. We know eachother a bit too much to ever let go, don't we? Let's keep this friendship high up in a sky of love and fire an arrow or two when we feel like it!
