Oleander ~ Tsurune; 𝘬𝘢𝘪𝘵𝘰 𝘰𝘯𝘰𝘨𝘪

It took me a while to upload something new as I have been going through a really hard inspiration block since December, not only that but my emotional has not been the best as well, work has consumed me entirely and it leaves me so tired and unmotived to do anything at all. I have tons of ongoing projects but I always end up dropping or deleting it. but hey! finally, first upload of the year : )

Episode 05 resonated with me in such a deep level that I just had to vent through it. Kaito was such a big mood in all aspects during that episode that at some point it felt like I was looking through a mirror. He tries to deal with his problems all by himself and closes himself to everyone around him, he gets distant, gets angry but doesnt blame anyone. The violence he shows to those who start asking and poking at his morals is just a way to cope with himself. He doesnt actually hurt anyone or curses anyone but the act of showing menace is an alert to keep others away from him and to stop questioning him. and I love that. Violence aside, I could relate a lot to him, specially this few months.
Kaito was always an interesting character since season 1 but the highlight they gave to him these last few espisodes helped develop more of his personality and they did it so masterfully and beautifully. Also, the song choice; I have been dwelling a lot in the Warrior Cats community again and this song was really popular with animation memes and maps in there, and I just had to use it for this edit. The Oleander flower is know as being toxic and dangerous paralleling with Kaitos hard and difficult temper which also ends up hurting and suffocating him.

Guess that's it for now, short edit but it means a lot to me. I will try to upload more consistently from now on but its not a promise.

I was so delighted to see more of Kaito’s development in the last episodes. Like seriously people really need to watch Tsurune it’s so fucking good, all the characters are so damn interesting. That aside,

I lack of good words to describe it but all your edits have something unique to them, I mean that they convey emotions and tell stories in such original & powerful ways. This is another reminder of why I fell in love with your editing years ago. ❤
So happy you could sneak indirectly some warrior cats content on your channel for the beginning of 2023! (I have no idea what that is though)
Back to Kaito, I totally can see you in him. Some planets just aligned here cuz his development really came in at the best timing for you, with everything life puts you through. I think it’s great you have now another character you can relate to like that. ❤ especially since you can turn all these feelings into art like this amv ❤
