Best mod for a 2511 is a 1/4P conversion, a spare oiler in case you end up around palms and a sharp chain 👍🏼

Saw will be too loud without muffler. Remove limiter caps and just adjust without them. No need to modify and reinstall caps. Use Allen screws instead of Phillips on Dog you installed. Other than that it is great.

The muffler gasket was on the muffler side of that metal plate, not against the exhaust port.

I love the mods! Should see some good gains with the muffler and carb being fully adjustable. Those dogs look sweet! Did you do a comparison of before and after?

just curious why you put the orange limiter sleeves back in? Wouldn’t it be easier to adjust them without the sleeves in?

Do a cs271 t and compare that to the cs2511t I'll bet you will see a difference between the two saws my friend and show it on utube then let people know the difference I own cs271t and cs355t and dcs2500t if I own the the vs2511t I would have bragging rights to be one and proud of it like you my friend
