My first mod was JW Speaker headlights. Being able to actually see at night was an important upgrade lol

Jeep owners love their mods...we put those mods on because WE love them and not what other people love because they don't own our Jeeps. All the negative comments about what she added...shame on you. How do YOU feel when someone points out a mod you did saying how bad it looks or they wouldn't have done it?? Rock on Merideth.

Not a fan of those flares. I get they improve clearance but they look, incomplete.

Fenders are fine looking. Add an inner front fender to keep the engine protected and clean up look. Finally some spray black undercoat in the fender wells will finish the project perfectly.

By far the best mod video I’ve watched so far.

Looks much better with the original fenders. These flares are dog ugly.

1-oil pan skid 2-winch 3-rocker guards 4-lockers 5-suspension lift/bigger tires/steering upgraded

Recommending people to buy a new air intake is insulting. The factory system provides more air than the engine can use in stock form.

GET RID OF STOCK DRIVE LINES! ON THE EAST COAST, undercoat to protect from salt. On board air . Extra tow straps and d rings. Bumpers. All 5 of these pluses rocker guards will be necessary early mods that will always add function to any changes you make in the future.

Also a Mammoth track bar, it’s not that expensive. I don’t like not having the front axle centered under the jeep. Very beefy I do recommend it.

That's a great look for five mods. My first six were bumpers, heavy duty tailgate hinge, steel grab bars, winch, and LED cube lights. I am ready for the suspension lift and tires.

IMHO, I really love those fender flares! I Like the boxy look of them just like the car. Im so hyped because I just bought an 09 Rubicon and this fenders flares are in my mods list. To each their own, if you like it go ahead! Keep the mods coming !

Based on these comments, Jeep people might not be as friendly as they are made out to be. Holy hell. Just enjoy your Jeep and appreciate what others do to theirs. We're not freaking clones.

Love the video with the exception of the fender flares.

I have a 2015 jeep wrangler unlimited Oscar mike freedom edition. I don’t ever see any other Oscar mikes around where I live so it’s cool to see you have one

The Teraflex lift kit has one flaw: regular nuts at the top of the shocks. Go buy some matching nylon lock nuts and put those on - you don't want those "tighten until the rubber gasket bulges a little" simple nuts to fall off on a washboard in the middle of Mohave National Preserve (and if it does, drive out to Baker, at the south end of town is a towing/repair shop with a big box of salvaged nuts you can dig through for a little donation to the beer fund.)
Depending on what Jeep model you put those 35s on, you might want to consider the extra $1.5k expense of having the diffs re-geared to at least 4.10. If you put 33s or 35s on a Sahara you will go very sluggish because that one is geared so low that it barely pulls stock wheels, much less something that weighs 80lbs each.
Talking about 80+ lbs wheels: the spare tire carrier isn't designed for that, nor is the gate hinge. If you're not running 37s or 40s go with a hinge and steel carrier replacement (cheaper) or replace the bumper with one that comes with a bumper mounted spare tire (3 times the price but ideal, since it also allows for extra gear to be mounted)
Watch state regulations for the air intake. In i.e. CA a lot of legally elsewhere air intakes are prohibited, so check your state regulations first. A snorkel is probably the better cold air intake anyways (and legal everywhere as far as I know since it doesn't change the air flow, it only changes the air temperature.)

I hate pavement, my first 5 mods would be...Winch, skid plates, rock rails, high lift jack, biggest most aggressive tires that fit . 2nd 5 would be. Gears, lockers, lift, tires, wheels. 3rd. Roll cage, swing out tire carrier, fenders, exhaust, intake.
