RE7 was the first resident evil game and seeing how dedicated Ethan was to protecting Mia made me immediately like him as a protagonist, playing RE8 then broke me, seeing him become a father, and wipe out an entire bloodline of Elden Ring bosses just for his kid only to crumble in the end, they just make a great character only to kill him off in the very next game, wish we could've seen more of Ethan Winters

It hurt even more if you play biohazard then village just to see Ethan show that he puts his family over his own life, I was sobbing when I found out Ethan died while I was playing village because he was a FATHER.
