This series is going to be fun. Love AJ and congrats to him getting his Tigers to the playoffs this season especially against our Astros. It’s poetic AJ is here to play his former team, but my money is on the Astros. We’ve had a lot of adversity this year, many injuries and challenges, the kind that makes or breaks teams and this team can go all the way to the WS this year. Astros 2-0 vs. Tigers Go Stros!!!

Fun fact: the Astros are 76-49 since their abysmal 12-24 start. That's .644 baseball. if we'd have played just .500 ball then, the Astros would be 94-67. (maybe 95; curse you rain!) The Astros are playing scary baseball right now: that's why Cleveland was trying hard to get that 1 seed, KC was blowing their entire bullpen to beat Atlanta, and why Detroit wasn't taking the back seat against the White Sox. No one wants to play us.

What the Tigers do is lean on their pitching to keep it close they will also cause your starter to throw a lot of pitches so when they get to your bullpen well they pretty much destroy you.

I guess if Yordan misses half of next season, we'll know that it was more than a knee sprain. Whether Yordan plays or not, I think the Stros will take it in 3....but then again, we're so unpredictable, nothing would surprise me. Nevertheless, I'll be watching, and getting my hopes up.
