e36 M3 third gear pulls incredibly good and here the e36 pulled away exactly in 3rd gear.

Brother close the window its creating a drag/ pulling backwards effect like a parachute the other driver closes his window upon acceleration therefore no wind or air resistance.

e46 m3 0-100 km/h 5.2 sec, and don’t forget THIS E46 m3 is SMG! Shifts slow! If it was manual then it probably would win! Both are good cars!

I'm really underwhelmed by the shift speed of the E36 SMG. It barely shifts faster (if at all) than a skilled driver can do with a manual. Really not impressed.

The E36 is firstly Euro spec and secondly the E46 can't drive for shit. Thirdly the E36 is a fast car when it's already moving and close to redline 5k rpms onwards otherwise it's nothing special. The gearing ratios on a E36 are very long compared to a E46 but they can stay in vanos territory longer. Honestly a half decent driven E46 would leave a half decently driven E36. A half decent driven E46 would be an ok match for a very well driven E36 with the E36 winning just. You need good roads and the ability to drive it like you stole it in an E36 for it to be great fun / Live up to today's expectations.

Something wrong with that e46, no way should the e36 pull like that unless it’s got a swapped ls1 in there or forced induction
