Feels good to know other people are struggling alongside you.

4x+38+2x-18=180
6x+20=180
6x=160

**x=26.7**
substitute
4(26.7)+38=144.8
2(26.7)-18=35.4

then just arrange them based on the understanding of urs on the angle relations such as alternate and exterior angles as well as vertical

:D

Thank you so much! I’m on the last part of chapter 3 in class. However, I still struggled with 3.1, though I read and practiced problems in the book constantly. Then, I came across this and all of sudden, it’s smooth sailing! Better explanations then my teacher! The test I’m studying for is the last, math test of the year. It’s this Thursday. I can guarantee that I can at least do better than I usually do with this newfound understanding. I really want to give my all into this final for a strong finish! I learned in more in 9 minutes from you, than in a week, from my teacher!

Great lesson so impressed with these color coded math lessons. As a teacher, it's helped me in my own classroom with visual learners. I myself am very visual and this has been a great tool! Can you post the answer for your final question please?
Keep up the good work!

Bruh I'm gonna take a test on Monday with a teacher that just gives us notes and barely explains it. This helped so much, thank you🙏🙏

The bigger angle is 144 + 2/3 degrees and the smaller angle is 35 + 1/3 degrees

Is there any way you can make a short video solving the problem you offer at the end of this one? I understand the entire concept and I looked at your answer as well...Unless I am doing something entirely wrong, I cannot figure out how to solve this last one.

For the answer I got -28. This is what I did.

4x+38=2x-18
I subtracted 2 from both sides and got 2x+38=-18
Then I subtracted 38 from both sides and got 2x=-52
Finally, I divided it and got -28.
Do you think you can correct me on what I did wrong and explain to me why I did that?
Thanks. By the way, I think your videos are cool too. Your rotations and slope video really helped me a lot. To be honest, I am 13 too, so most likely I got this question wrong as well.
