Wow...what a long search all over the world! And, finally, Kim was found in the Philippines in the name of Lea Salonga. In addition, a number of other Filipino musical/ stage artists. So very proud of our Filipino artists.

There is amazing Talent found in every corner of Earth. A beautiful singing voice is like beauty itself. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

What fascinated me about Miss Saigon is that actresses and actors I see from local Philippine TV shows and films (Pinky Amador in Encantadia 2005, Monique Wilson in Jose Rizal 1998 movie, Isay Alvarez and Robert Seña in Pulang Araw, add Janella Salvador who I’ve seen in some PH shows who is actually the daughter of OG cast Jenine Desiderio), an actor who has been in big International productions and has acted with Oscar winners and other big personalities (Jonathan Pryce who was in The Crown and has acted with the likes of Madonna, Emma Thompson, Johnny Depp and Keira Knightley) and other musical actors who has also been part of the original casts of other big famous musicals (Claire Moore who is the original alternate Christine Daae in Phantom of the Opera; then Jimmy Johnston, Keith Burns, and Peter Polycarpou who were all in the original ensemble cast of Les Misérables) are all in the same casts! Someone who did Encantadia and someone who did The Crown working together in one show, it’s just super unbelievable!

This video is playing faster than it should! They sound like they're forcing their vibrato. Change the playback speed of this video to .75 in settings to get a better understanding of how it's supposed to sound.
