My mother made every “holiday” very big like this. It’s something she won’t ever forget as a child. I’m almost 40 and my mom still does it for my kids lol. But they don’t get candy and toys really. My mom did things she knew we needed like clothes and socks and fun stuff. My dad traumatized our childhood so she made the best she could. ❤

I keep a running list on my phone of ideas for whatever idea, and Markoff what I got already. That way you're not buying multiples, or too much. Another helpful tip is pick a theme, and only get things with that particular theme. Sometimes it really helps to limit the purchases made. 😂 I love the way you do over the top baskets. 🤷🏼‍♀️ There were times in active addiction I didn't get my babies anything for the holidays, and now that I'm sober and able to I tend to go overboard too. 🤷🏼‍♀️ He is risen and Happy Easter Y'all!
