In this video, I tell you why you should upgrade to WiFi 6E routers in your home, using the new Deco system from TP-LINK! It’s an amazing system that has literally fixed my WiFi woes. I’m not exaggerating; it’s mind-blowing how good this system is, and the best part: it’s affordable vs. other WiFi 6E solutions.

Updated numbers: Sitting in my Sunroom, I am getting 600 Mb down, 512 Mb up. That's pretty insane for my in-home WiFi experience. I don't miss my old mesh system one bit.

Crazy how most people don't understand how wifi or the internet works. Getting faster speeds isn't going to do anything for you except in congestion or running a ton of devices. You will not see any difference in day to day use from 20-30mbps vs 100mbps. The only reason why higher overall home internet speeds helps is when the whole family is streaming on several devices. as long as ea device gets good speeds of 20-30mbps, there are no issues and faster speeds won't make a difference.
For example: I watch a lot of tv via streaming on my phone in the garage. Sometimes I only get 20ish mbps on 2.4ghz, closer to 200ish on 5ghz because my signal is weak in the garage. there is absolutely no performance differences. No issues, no buffering, etc.
Another thing to note is you can only connect to a server as fast as their connection is. so you are always limited by their speeds among other variables.

Sure, there may be better theoretical speed improvements, but i'm more concerned about how fast the range drops off or what it actually takes to fully cover the house as well as the yard. That's where the higher tiered devices come into play as well as some other variables not even covered in this video.
This guy is full of it, if you believe he is getting "snappier/ better performance", etc. He already had good speeds, he didn't notice anything besides possible better coverage.

As another member said, best to have everything hardwired and leave wifi to smart devices, phones, tablets, etc. Benefits of the 75 pro is range/ coverage and 2.5gb port. Otherwise, more of the smaller units will give you the same real world performance.
6e adds benefits as well since it's not a congested band yet, but there isn't even much support for 6e yet either.

Lastly, wifi 7 routers will start releasing in a couple months or so.

If you want to end your wifi woes forever, hire someone to bring a CAT 6 or greater cable to every room in your house. Then home run those cables back to your primary distribution center. Plug all the cables into a switch or into your cable modem or whatever to complete the network. Then each room can have a wifi unit plugged directly into Ethernet instead of that MESH crap.
