Before Insomniac hit the scene it was easily the best Spider-Man game ever made.

God the things I'd do to get web of shadow combat into a new Spider-Man game.

Web of Shadows is the only game to ever pioneer the web strike mechanic,

And for some reason, it's the only game in Spider-Man history to still be at the top for its fluid and creative combat mechanics.


Every other spoods game after web of shadows that introduces a move that's labeled "webstrike" (can be found in all of beenox's spiderman games and insomniac Spider-Man under the name "webstrike") doesn't live up to that hype in combat department .

I hope we get better webstrikes going forward. The way spidey moves in combat from all angles is spectacular!

This game is my favorite Spider-Man game and one of my favorite games of all time. The web strike is the most satisfying it’s been in any Spider-Man game and the swinging is *mwah*! Being able to switch between symbiote and classic suits is also amazing

the ability to grab street lamps/flagpoles was super fun and made the swinging better than other games web swingings

i had web of shadows and shattered dimensions on ps3 when i was a kid. was definitely more of a shattered dimensions kind of guy though. i wish i could go play that shit again

Gonna be honest. Everything felt super clunky. Even the swinging. Rewatching clips just have me PTSD

Such an Overhated game... I hope Spider-Man 2 follows some of web of shadows like the symbiot suit being swappable with a click a button.

I had this for Wii back when it came out and it was virtually unplayable, picked it up recently for ps3 and loved it!

I played this game so much, maxed out everything, got really good at swinging.

Played spiderman ps4 and miles morales, came back to web of shadows after a while. Can't swing for shit anymore
