I bought my first pair of Dynamic VR17s while stationed in the German Alps in 1972. I was a ski patrol for the AFRC. The skis were 207cm and I used them anytime the weather produced icy conditions. They would carve circles on an ice cube if you knew how to work them. At 73 years old now, I finally gave them away. It broke my heart to see them go. Like an old car or an old girlfriend (notice the ranking order). Oh yeah, and they were not the new hourglass side cuts. These were the real deal and if you didn't know how to cut a turn, you'd end up on your butt every time!

I really like the turns in the "orange" outfit mid way through the video. I like overall linking between the top and through the bottom of the turn as well as some sign of leg independence not seen prior. Equally nice rebounding energy turns at the end in both "blue " and "orange". Nice core stability as the energy moves from side to side.

A video idea...what about a video like this [wicked short turns with slightly different goals/styles on each run] but on a GS ski? I think getting to watch you do short turns on a GS ski in slow motion would be very helpful.
