Thanks for your show, Tyler. I really appreciate how you don't become unglued when you have a hiccup in your routine. Thank you for demonstrating how a person should act when faced with a frustration. Well done!

Like the old saying " Fix it up, make do or do without" still makes a lot of sense. Good on ya, FTR.

I love hearing you think out loud about how you might modify something to achieve greater efficiencies, and the domino effect that this has on other aspects of your farming. I have also learned that a good farmer is one who has learned to manage his inputs in an efficient manner. Great video.

The bucket trap needs a ramp that goes up to the horizontal surface on top of the bucket...
Rodents can't climb up the slippery vertical plastic sides of the bucket.
The second subject: When I was a kid, running at the Detroit Speedway, there was a saying;
"You Run What You Brung".
Your ability to make the best of what you have at hand and make it functional as well as form impresses me greatly . Could have used you back then at the Detroit Speedway in the 60s
Thank you again for your wonderful episodes keep them coming.
I try not to miss a single one. I even went back to your original episodes and try to play them in order.

Love how you are able to breathe new life into the old equipment. Great job, FTR. Rodent pressure is bad all over. Good luck finding the solution.

There is a lot to be said for doing machinery maintenance at the finish of each use. So go and get the triangular feet and bolts, and when you finish seeding you can swap them out. And what a delight that will be when you need it again next year!

I know you don’t use the shank thing (lol)but once a year, but you do NEED it so my thoughts are that you go ahead and modify it, when you have time, because anything that makes life’s jobs easier and faster is worth putting in the time to upgrade. Besides we all know you love designing and building things. Another great video Tyler! ❤

You always have time to do things right (in the case of the bolts) taking the time to do it right will save alot of time and money in the future.

For the bucket trap I always just run a rope across the (open) top with a toilet paper cardboard roll around the rope covered in peanut butter. We have great success with it, can catch like 15 mice a day
