I actually like these vids as long as its less than 1/3 of the channel content. I am ignorant on some of the rogers and sakae drums or stuff of that nature and its interesting to follow your adventures and learn a bit about gear that is unknown to me. So yes please keep this stuff coming, thanks

Just bought a Bosphorus ride marked at $380 for only $160 (including shipping) just because it was a floor model and had a couple finger prints on it. I feel like that’s a pretty good deal since it’s basically brand new.

Love your channel I'm a drum freak to I get drums out a local bulletin board .My best find was from a goodwill store in the same plaza were i worked at Lowe's I went there so much that some of the customers thought that i worked there. It was a student model pearl 3x13'' with stand, case excellent shape $50.00 sold it for $150.00 Bought a premier 5x 14'' snare for $40.00 still have it . In the early 90's I used to run an ad in a BB for drums rims lugs parts etc.This lady called me said see was cleaning the basement out and had a drum set those drum sets made in the 70's that were all the same set they just put a different name on the badge more than likely made in the same warehouse she only wanted $50.00 bought it cleaned it up put some better heads sold it believe it or not for $300.00 I love Tama drums I've got the Artstar Cordia drums made 1983 to 1986 the wood grain ones toms 10'' 12''13''14''15''FT 16'' 18'' bass drums 22'' 24'' all three of the snares 5, 6.8x14'' I have a Star which is the start of Tama 5x14 chrome snare it has a strainer with it kinda like on the Imperial star king beat has the rod that runs thru the shell its 10 lug. You have alot of nice stuff all the studio stuff etc. Do you play professional and buy and sell drums for a living ? I'm a forklift operator been playing out 31 years on the weekends animal club reunions wedding etc, do you have a facebook page? One more good find I got lady had drumset in BB for free it was a Tama stage star set 5pc if nobody called she was going to put it out to the trash I got it sold for $200.00Hope to here from you.

I know Sakae went out of business in 2018. I know Korg bought the trademark. It's a slow return but I hope they make it back to the market in for a long time. My mahogany snare from Sakae is one of my favorite drums I own.

I think it would be really cool if you made this a more regular thing! I watch Luke Miani’s videos on how to buy/restore used MacBooks cheaply, when buying new is exorbitantly expensive. The same goes for drum equipment in my opinion. I’m also a high school music teacher in a city school district, so your DIY approach to buying/modifying gear is a great resource. Cheers!

Great haul, man! I have that same Rogers snare! So loud and heavy! You should really do a video of all your snares (and yes...put that black max on one of them) as we’d really like to see how your collection of them sound.

Or, for the Bonham kit, you can get a Pearl Jungle Gig mount, and turn one of the floor toms into a bass drum, and have a Vistalite 3-piece.

Aw darn, I was so hoping those were the original Vistalites, still super awesome. I'd like to get a set eventually I need em like a hole in the head, but, I just can't grow up. Lol I like tithe videos cuz I think I could do more than I am, organize better, helps watching you.
