Which points program is best? Is it American Express, Chase, US Bank? Well in this video we will talk about the pros and cons of each of these points systems. Then I will rank them based on where I think they should go.

I agree on your rankings for most of the banks, but gotta disagree on the US bank ranking. No way can it be S tier. No transfer partners & last i heard you can’t even combine points from other cards!

Also Cap1 has mutiple venture cards & spark mile cards which can access their TPs

Crazy I have 4 ecosystems lol. (I have 5 if we include Bilt) But don’t have Citi or BofA.

For me and my family, Chase UR points work best

Great video. I mostly agree with your list but I feel personally that Amex should be top tier with Chase and US bank because if you think about it most of the luxury based cards/high status cards are Amex example is with mariott you have both chase and amex cards but only amex provides the top tier Marriott card. Not to mention all of hiltons cards are amex cards yes it's a different earning system but when your talking about travel most of the time if your going somewhere for a 7 nights or longer your hotel/s is going to be your biggest expense not your flight or maybe your not even flying and your a "road warrior" but I also see credit cards as way of getting high status and redeeming for more luxury stays/places I would not normally be able to afford with just cash

Great video Matt! As an Altitude Reserve cardholder, I love to see US Bank in the S tier (I might be biased haha). Quick note that you don't even need to use the portal for 1.5 cpp! Using the Real Time Rewards feature, I can book flights directly with the airline (as long as the charge is in USD), and US Bank will send me a text to redeem at 1.5 cpp. Also, US Bank lets me earn points on RTR purchases! I did this for some flights to Mexico when the transfer partners just weren't any better than 1.5 cpp. Great list overall as well.

The U.S. Bank Altitude Reserve will always be my favorite, especially since I only travel in economy. Guaranteed 1.5cpp is too good!✈️
