🌸Powerful Message for Teenagers!🌸
🌸Yielding blindly to the demands of the senses without exercising control over them is akin to allowing a ship to drift aimlessly at sea, subject to the whims of the wind. Without direction from the intellect, one's life becomes scattered and devoid of purpose, leading to a state of agitation and lack of contemplative power. Ultimately, this lack of control over the senses results in a life devoid of both worldly success and inner peace, resembling a ship without a captain, destined to be lost in the tumultuous seas of existence. Watch video for Pujya Gurudev Swami Chinmayananda's inimitable explanation.🌸
🌸Video is an excerpt from Bhagavad Gita Chapter 02 Shloka 67🌸
🌸108 Chinmaya Jayanti🌸
➡️ Today, we present the inaugural Jnana Yajna from 1951-52. Immerse yourself in the profound teachings and relive these cherished moments.
🌸Bhagavad Gita Chapter 02🌸
The second chapter of the Bhagavad Gita is what one would call a statement of intent. It begins with Arjuna totally surrendering to the Lord. The strategic and logical Lord Krishna then gives an exhaustive summary of the contents of the Gita starting by defining the logic of thought in the philosophy and then goes on to roughly sketch the different paths that lead to God - The Path of Action, The Path of Love and the Path of Renunciation.
In a nutshell, it is the epitome of the entire Bhagavad Gita.
