Windows Me was my very first computer, and I remember being a guinea pig over the media player! It's nice to look back at all this, and the memories keep flooding back! Star Power was my favorite visualization!

This green face gave me so many nightmares as a kid. My father would rip off cd's during the night since it took a lot of time, and the computer was right in front of my bed. I couldn't sleep with that face looking at me.

Ah, windows media player 7, truly nostalgic, before upgrading to Windows XP since WMP 8 won't install on Windows 98 or Me.
This remains the best version of windows media player till date with tthose skins and visualizations.
