wait, wait, wait, a channel that says ENDING EXPLAINS and ACTUALLY explains just the ending without making a 30 minutes long video explaining the whole movie that we already watched and just want to see the last 2 minutes to make sense ?

so brother and sister died. ( the guy killed both? her in the bed and him on the couch? ). brothers soul was trapped in a time loop haunting the family without knowing. remembered, and saved the sister from being murdered. ok i can accept BUT the guy already tried to drug her with that orange juice way before. the "presence" made the glass fall. so shouldnt she originally already die long before, without the brother even being at home? explain me that! :D

How did the sister not die first? Wouldn’t she and her brother both be dead? And if so, wouldn’t they have tried to stop this event from happening? This whole story feels rewritten. Like, they moved to another school, but it’s still in the same district? The way they framed the family moving made it seem like it was because of the deaths of the other girls—especially considering how angry the brother was about his sister potentially embarrassing him in front of his friends. But if that’s the case, wouldn’t that mean he’s actually at a different school instead of just moving to a new house?

Also, the mirror didn’t play any role in the story, even though they highlighted it like it was supposed to be important. If the brother had died in their old home and followed them to the new one to stop the guy he knew had killed the other girls—only to be murdered himself because of what he knew—that would have made sense. But since both siblings would have died in the original timeline, you can’t argue that they would both be tied to the house and forced to relive the story, preventing their deaths.

Honestly, the girl’s best friend would have made for a better story.

This opinion is NOT what I got out of the movie. If this is what was supposed to be revealed, it did not come across at all. Sorry guys.
I think the movies had some interesting experiments with cinematography and I fell in love with parts of the house. And I've always liked the actor that played the dad in this film. But, it was not a compelling story.

Are you supposed to ruin movie endings if it causes a possible loss of capital to the movie producers and everyone involved? People like you and many other critics make money from movies. The more revenue to movies the more content you can potentially make.

I understand the director wanted a six sense ending but this wasn’t it… they’ve should’ve just stuck to the narrative that the presence is one of her friends who was murdered but the same guy trying to protect her….
