Meet the most expensive Timex ever: The Swiss-Made Giorgio Galli S2 Automatic. The design comes from the mind of the Timex Group’s global creative director, Giorgio Galli, and we got our hands on one.

The 38mm case structure combines a stainless steel core with a titanium midcase, and a Sellita SW-200 automatic movement. It’s the first Swiss-made Timex in 50 years, and at $975, it’s the most expensive serially produced watch that Timex has ever released.

Just shows how important branding strength is. This is a quality, absolutely genuine Swiss watch made by one of the oldest watch makers around. It is designed by a bastion of watch design and at £750, costs less than most microbrand watches that are made in cheap Chinese workshops. Yet, relatively speaking, nobody will buy it because the brand name isn't deemed cool, due to poor brand management

Oh Sh*t, this is dope. I like the design but need to see this in the metal. 38mm seems like it would be perfect.

It looks very good. I think it's for people who don't have to prove anything.

The only thing I hate is that it doesn’t have good water resistance(which I need). I know its a bit outlandish but it would make this more functional(which it really isn’t already)

Sorry it would gross me out to wear a timex or see a timex on someone else. Yuck.
