Used one from plywood for many years. I just use two screws to hold it down. A rubdown with past wax makes the wood slide smooth. A screw holds one side of the fence and a small clamp on the other end for adjustment.

Good simple idea. Tip: put several coats of osmo polyx on the fence and base and when cured, maintain the contact surfaces on the fence and base with beeswax. It’ll be more durable and work pieces will glide easier👍

Do you have instructions on how to build this because I would love to do this. I’m a beginner woodworker just building my shop in the garage. But I have so many projects that having stops and fences, and the right tools to build them would be a big Time saver. I’m also trying to figure out a chopsaw station with the the tracks for setting stops. I love the inner change of different tools.

I love Norm A but this is so far superior to his bulky cumbersome foldup router worktable that sucked up a whole cabinet for the folduppability.

I think even if I was gonna use it from time to time I'd still want a router table and there not to expensive Skil and Kobalt sell one under 200 that's good
