Lazy agricultural officers and Coconut hybrids!

At the national level, in coconut producing countries, if the department of agriculture does not produce coconut hybrids, and tells the farmers that these varieties are not suitable, do not believe them!
In fact, they talk that way that because they are lazy. They will tell you about the tradition. They will say that the traditional tall varieties are the best, but don't believe them! Farmers, these people are just trying to impose their backward views on you.
Producing coconut palm hybrids requires labor and good technical skills. If you are lazy, and if you work in an approximate way, It will be easily seen! the color of the germ in the nursery makes it possible to detect hybrids which are not well produced and seed gardens poorly managed.
Please, agricultural decision makers, do not try to think instead of coconut farmers! You should allow farmers a primary role in making their own varietal choices. You should provide to farmers a range of at least six different coconut varieties, including Tall, Dwarf, Compact Dwarf, and Hybrids. In most cases, farmers will choose to plant and test several varieties in their plantation, and will form their own opinions.
