BLACK GIRL GETS MAKEUP DONE IN KOREA | Fail or Success?

In this video, I get my makeup done in Korea at one of the best reviewed salons in south Korea.

The makeup artist was super sweet and did Korean style makeup on my face. I am not sure if you would call this Ulzzang makeup but I think it was pretty interesting trying Korean makeup as a black girl. It low key reminded me about the time Jackie Aina tried Korean-style makeup on her youtube channel. But anyhoo, the makeup artist did a great on me as a black person. This transformation was fun and I can't wait to try more things out as a black girl In Korea! Let's keep it going

That woman took one look at you and knew exactly what to do and make those eyes pop. Beautiful and sweet.
Also, from what I can tell Korea just has a crazy amount of situations where saying "umm" and "ohhh" with different intonation is just appropriate and I love that. Where I'm from it's kinda seen as a bad speaking habit, but it feels like it makes things simpler to me.

I think contour can make you look more sophisticating mature... not older... but mature. I rather look younger. And your MUA did a great job of making you look fresh faced and young!

I love the compliment from the MUA - you don't need to contour because your face is so small. LOL The ultimate compliment in Korea. Your eyes look so amazing with Korean style makeup. The under eye looks so much better than American style makeup. But then, you're beautiful to begin with,

It's so refreshing to see such subtle makeup. Don't get me wrong but American makeup really plays into a certain template of beauty. It doesn't accentuate a person's features as much as Korean makeup. Just love the way how you're makeup turned out.❤

It's interesting how foreigners living in Korea start picking up East Asian behavior traits as well when speaking Korean. Like being all shy and denying other people's compliments, even saying stuff like "no, not that pretty / not that good"☺️😉 while in the US it's always about coming across maximum self confident.
