I have a soft voice and find that with no mic, the iPhone 11 picks up the sound of the brush both in the water and on the paper in a loud obnoxious way. Only thing is the rode mic me L is very unreliable when it comes to durability I’m on my 4th microphone because the lighting adapter is very flimsy and breaks easily wish they could fix this
