Bro just the perfect tutorial for beginners I recommend everyone to go through his video. His explanation is clean like water.. Most of the youtubers just do it for the sake of doing...but salute to this guy and his explaination..

Thanks so much for a great tutorial. Geometry nodes make a lot more sense when you think of them as object-oriented scripting. As an old programmer it immediately clarified things for me. Looking forward to more.

This was a fun, and informative video. Once you make a procedural texture how do you save it for later works?

AGH! I've spent hours looking for someone to actually explain things. Don't feel singled out, no one has done this one simple thing. Which is explain the inputs of the most important node, the output. Everyone just sticks the wire, noodle or whatever they decide to call it to Surface and moves along. WHY not stick in on the other spots? How would a beginner know not to connect to the Volume? Whats the blue one all about? Displacement? SO simple yet no one has bothered. ALL these are supposedly beginner tutorials but none actually explain the most basic things.

Great and easy to follow tutorial, Ryan! I am brand new to using nodes - very helpful. Beginner question: what are the advantages of using procedural material over UV mapping? Does it cut down on rendering computation? File size? Thanks again!!
