I absolutely love the Tiger II

It's an almost unstoppable beast when it's top tier, and it certainly makes you feel the part.

Unfortunately, War Thunder matchmaking being what it is, I almost always find myself against Cold War-era vehicles with guns powerful enough to go right through my gun mantlet like a hot knife through butter 🙃

I've both the tech tree and the premium and recently have been using them in my line up. They were unstoppable a few years ago, and now, they're very potent in the right situations. I'm a sniper though, not a brawler, so I prefer to use them at longer ranges, but usually the snail puts me in flat, short range maps when I bring them out to play.


I prefer to brawl using the RU-251 though. Fast, nimble and potent at short range. Turney calls it the paper Leopard. Also like to do the scout role when I'm usually tiered against 8.0 missle slingers.

Its very good imo but versing cold war vehicles with heat is absurd. Your esentially a slow reacting target for alot of heat slingers. This is a problem for other nations heavy tanks too unfortunately.
