Great truck, don't change anything. Just maintain it, enjoy and drive it!

I too have a '65 F100. It was my daily driver for 34 yrs. I ran the 240 six. Not one ounce of trouble from it. I was faithful on the 3, 000 mile oil & filter. That engine was 27 yrs old. put on a set of the efi exh mnflds. Wow ! the difference was stunning. I replaced the 240 with a 300. Same exh mnflds. I should say...I have two plane jane mufflers. After them are two short pipes that turn in front of the pass rear tire ( short so min. back pressure). The 300 has even more pep, like that.
Nice color you have. All the best, Pete 🙂

1965 was the first year for the 352 V8 cruse-O-matic transmission, Custom cab is all the anodized aluminum trim, grill, swept speedo dashboard, other things would be the padded dash and the side trim which were all optional, EVEN the passenger side visor was a option, door arm rest's were a option. Over the last 15 years I have had just as many Slicks, currently building a 65 F250 4x4.

Gorgeous truck! How many to the gallon did you say? I drive a 79 Datsun 620 truck here in UK and that gets a lot of respect!

That's why I got my grandpa 65 f100 with flat wood bed, 391 v8. All I did was por15 the frame to keep the frame in great condition. The interior mint condition with a perfect seat cuz my grandpa always had a Indian blanket on it. It only has under 25k miles cuz he ordered it for pulling his 5th wheel, goose neck hitch. I even have the build sheet and og title. I will never sell it
